who should be in bed? yeah it's me. yet what am I doing? just hanging out, feeling a little lonely. I was really frustrated at the library tonight. It took me 45 minutes to find the Europa WORLD Yearbook (you'd think an computerized catelogue could still find it) and then after I found it, went to put money on my card to use the copy machine, two minutes tops, came back and it disappeared. Its a REFERENCE book, for crying out loud. I left it open to the section on India, with a bookmark and everything. My thief must have some nerve. Grr!! So I waited for 45 more minutes for it to show up, but it insisted on being difficult. Dah. Just not my day I guess. We also had a fire drill that woke me up from my nap this afternoon. What else? I got a $300 Visa bill, realized I don't yet really have a job for this summer and my K-head didn't get my groceries. and I really missed Ion today. Random. and Daniel. and Crista. And Mala. and Krista. and Steve. And Phillip. and Randall. and Katie. and Jake. And Kurt. And Will and Eric and Jack and Tommy and Nate and little Brandon. and Jen. And Em. and Jeff. And Natalie. And Manda. And other Jen. and Jess and Maureen. and Rohini. I missed everyone today.

so I'm a loser who doesn't understand html? Maybe some day I'll have a page I'm willing to show people. For now I'll stick to complaining.
I'm supposed to be finishing up my paper on India. Malavika suggested I write "India is amazing and Mala kicks ass!" At this point I'm conidering it, but for now I'll leave it in the footnotes. Which, by the way, are so damn easy on Word now. Half of my teachers hate the new MLA format and require footnotes. It's quite painless.
I had a wonderfully weekend full of nothings. Lots of movies, La Parilla, chips and salsa, raspberry sorbet, coke and vodka. It's been so nice I almost don't want to go home. Wait a second . . .
I'll try to get back to work. I just edited four "so"s out of the beginning of my sentences. Have I spent too much time in Kansas?

You know what? Guess how I described my weekend to my Iowa guyfriends?:

This was my first weekend where I didn't have a major test/paper/whatever due Monday or Tuesday since the beginning of the emester. It was marvelous. Despite the fact that I did work at my job this weekend, I didn't have much to do and signed out early. Actually, I went to a Pomeroy concert Wenesday night, until 2 something. If you've heard of them, they're not my kind of band, but they have one little riff of one song that I like. and I had friends going. I went to La Parilla Thursday night. It's Latin American (read: NOT MEXICAN). Oh yeah, and helped my roommate go shopping for a prom dress--going with a girl from her old high school. And then went to get candy and see "Death to Smoochy" which could've been better. Saw a friend from marching band I haven't seen since November. But man, seeing Robin William say "fuck" every other word was certainly a trip. Then Friday I was done with class at 11:30. My roommates and I, for "spring cleaning," cleaned the sleeping porch, so now instead of the musty, dusty smell of winter, I get to sleep in a wonderfully clean, Febreezed-porch. Then what else, oh yeah. I went to King Buffet for dinner, good Chinese food, and went to Eric (my bf) friend from HS's 21st surprise birthday Good times. What else? Then Eric and I bought strawberry sorbet and lime chips and . . . ate, and went to bed. Then woke up on Saturday afternoon, laid out side and read. Then went to Sonic for Cherry Limeaides (the one LARGE thing missing in Iowa), rented "Training Day" which I really enjoyed, and ate the rest of the lime chips. Slept until three on Sunday, did some light laundy, went to Papa Kino's for dinner (amazing, amazing pizza), went to Tropical Sno, helped Eric study for his politics test, went grocery shopping to get wonderful things such as strawberries, artichokes, and cream cheese. Had dicussions with Eric and my roommate Libby about why I believe in God and what kinda of God I believe in and why I don't align myself with "conservative Christians."

Two very different pictures huh?

"weekend of bullshit"
well, at least that's what it feels like. You'd think, beautiful weather, relative free time (at least compared to the last three weeks), great friends, should all amout to good times, right? Wrong. This has been the most frustrating, stressful, lame weekend that I can remember. and yes, it's all my my fault. And on top of all of it, my back hurts like a [fill in your own explative noun]. I just need to get more sleep, figure out what I'm going with my life, be more organized, etc. And I need a bike. Drr.
Why do I have to make my life so stressful? I don't know. It's all pretty ridiculous. Is this my punishment for not going to Mass? I mean, I don't believe in a God that plays silly games like that . . .
So I suppose I'll go back to the real world. sometimes, you understand why there are drug addicts and alcoholics and people with serious mental problems. And this isn't even that bad. Someone please tell me to shut up and stop whining.

Okay, so there was one more question I couldn't make my mind up on. I mean, I just couldn't resist. But dude, I could never be as cool as Gonzo!!!

You are Gonzo!
You're a bit loopy, and many people have trouble figuring out exactly what you're supposed to be. You take pride in your eccentricity and originality.

so I do this with quizzes. When I find questions that I could have multiple answers to, I take it multiple times. My Score went from 66 to 54 to 49. So that's not such a huge range, is it? But they all kinda sound like me in their own ways. I mean, we all know about my lame jokes and bad English . . . just goes to show I can't make up my mind who I am.
And I'm okay with that :-)

You are Kermit!
Though you're technically the star, you're pretty mellow and don't mind letting others share the spotlight. You are also something of a dreamer.

You are Fozzie!
Wokka Wokka! You love to make lame jokes. Your sense of humor might be a bit off, but you're a great friend and can always be counted on.
