I took that last quiz ages ago. Don't know why it wouldn't post until now. Hmm.

So I'm meant to be packing. Haha. Can I just move KU on top of Sam? Or maybe just move my house to Lawrence? I am thrilled to get to see Eric. and all the other Miller ppl--Libby, Beck, Aubs, Sarah, Danielle, Cheri, both Rachels, Steph, Miriam, heck even Kaelyn. and eventually band ppl. And my study abroad friends. But I like this house so much and I like my family in it. I did enjoy Iowa. I don't know that I've disliked any place I've lived. Oh well, at least I get to come home next summer too. So few of my friends actually WANT to be at home for the summer. What can I say, I'm a freak.

And I don't even care about classes starting. I'm actually looking forward to it! I have a great schedule and except for biology, I'm excited about my classes (okay, pols methods doesn't sound that great either).

Ahh I should go back to packing or I'll be sorry! So many little details. . . like where the heck is my phone? How can you lose a phone?!?

Hi hi hi. What is it with me and multiple introductions?

So yes, I should be working on my paper. I'm trying, I really am. It's just not that exciting. Not even a teensy little bit.

Okay, secretly it's that I can't work and listen to this cd Eric made me. He sent it to Paris and everything. Do I have the best boy or what? And on top of that, it's a great cd. Jimi Hendrix, "Puff the Magic Dragon," Beatles, Pig Farmer, Steely Dan, Neil Young, Bob Dylan, Eagles, Led Zeppelin, KU Drumline, Chicago and others. . . Does this kid know me? Wow.

Nick's watching the "Sound of Music" behind me. It's distracting. "There is no Austria!"

Not that I have anything worthwhile to say or anything interesting to report. . . I can't believe I'm heading back to Lawrence in like a week and a half. NEdd to start packing. There are so many things I can't wait to do and people I can't wait to see. But I feel like my summer escaped me. I had great plans. I guess I did some of them. I exercise fairly reguarly, I'm learning something new--golf, haha even though Daniel says it doesn't sound like me. I'd always up for trying something new! It's a not too physical sport and that's what I like about it. I've been to quite a few baseball games and have some more before the summer is up. I've been reading books again. When I went to college I dropped off too much. I learned to knit again. My grandmother has taught me several times. Not that I can do much, but I enjoy it. I'm trying new recipies out of all the cookbooks mom's getting me from Half Priced Books :-) yum. . . and I'm helping out and playing with my brothers. I will miss them when I leave. And my parents. It feels so natural to be at home. I guess I'll come home and take ecology and stats at Sam next summer, so I can finish the environmental studies program.

Oh yeah, did I say? I've decided to double major in environmental studies. I only have enough time for the B.A., and I'm not really interested in doing the environmental science part professionally. But I'm excited! I had to turn my schedule upside down!! This semester I have to take intro to bio :-) and environmental law and environmental policy, plus pols methods and human geography. But no classes before 10:30!! :-) spoiled me.

Ah mom's here, so I'd better get back to pretending like I'm working. . .
